I will be out of the office May 1–4 because I have been accepted into the Leadership Illinois program. The first segment is in Springfield where we will be introduced to “The Power of Government.”
May 16–29 I will be in Vienna, Austria visiting my daughter Marlene who is studying abroad.

This semester (Spring 2012) I am teaching Typography I at Parkland. That means I'll be leaving the office every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30. The first class was this afternoon, and I met my students. They have a rich and varied background of experiences.

This new website features recent work, especially in the area of branding. A new section on design strategy has been added. Smart executives are embracing design for competitive advantage in a crowded market. Two case studies illustrate how Studio 2D can help. I have included a very brief outline of the creative problem solving process. Designers are taught how to do this, but it can be applied to any project in any area of life.
The sections on type and color have been updated.
