Slab Serif

Slab Serifed fonts, sometimes called Egyptians, were developed in the industrial age of the 19th century. They are used mainly for headlines and logos, where legibility is paramount. Beton Extra Bold conveys the strength of a freight train in a geometric form. Some Slab Serfied faces such as Clarendon can be used in body text.
