Global Food 3-D tm was developed at the National Soybean Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois with research funding from the Illinois Soybean Association and the United States Department of Agriculture. The software helps analysts, policymakers, managers, teachers, and researchers better understand the dynamics of the population and income growth, and the production, consumption, and income elasticities of key commodities. Employing econometric and visualization tools Global 3-D provides a “video game” like workspace to explore the dynamics of over 200 countries across 45 years of history, and forecasts to the year 2030.
InnovoSoy, Inc. was formed to commercialize Global Food 3-D along with other agricultural, food and bioenergy products.
