AE graduate student Daniel J. MorganAE graduate student Daniel J. Morgan has been awarded a fellowship from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for his research into swarms of small spacecraft. Morgan’s project, “Dynamics and Controls of Swarms of Femtosatelllites,” was successful in securing one of the highly competitive NASA Space Technology Research Fellowships, awarded to projects showing significant promise for future application toward NASA missions and strategic goals. Chasiotis Delivers SEM Lecture; Group Chosen for Hetényi Award

ChasiotisAE Associate Prof. Ioannis Chasiotis delivered the 2011 Journal of Strain Analysis Young Investigator Lecture during the Society for Experimental Mechanics Annual Conference and Exposition on Experimental and Applied Mechanics in June.
